About
Bio
I started in the arts as early as 1969 as a portrait artist and clay sculpture. I have owned businesses thru the years and have been in many juried fine art and International shows throughout New Mexico, Nevada, Texas, Arizona and California. I am mostly self taught, but also have taken courses with the Columbus art and Design of Ohio and Foothill College in California. While living in another state, I painted the legendary figures of the Old West, capturing the essence of the outlaws, like Billy the Kid, Wyatt Earp, who lived so large in our history. After moving to New Mexico, the history and stories of everyday life, colorful cultures of Native American and Mexican people took hold of my brush. My style of art had finally found the right home.
My work has been displayed:
